A CALL TO DUTY There is nothing like the feeling of leading soldiers. Leading is not abusing power but an opportunity to show others by personal example how to do the right thing and motivating them to accomplish that impossible task. As a leader you can earn the respect of your soldiers and form a bond like no other anywhere. To be an effective leader you must know what you are doing and how to communicate that knowledge so it is understood. As a good leader you must foster pride and cohesive teamwork in your unit, you directly influence the lives of every soldier in your care everyday. You make the difference in whether a soldier is part of a team and is proud of what he/she is doing even though it is not easy. There is nothing better than being around a great leader with charisma and a caring attitude that makes us all want to go conquer mountains. This leader looks, acts, and is the epitome of being a soldier and makes you want to improve yourself to that standard. This leader makes you want to give that extra bit of energy you have left to make the mission come off a little better. This is leadership and you can be this leader.

The ROTC Department currently has available, Special Nursing Scholarships for nursing students desiring to attend a PNE school. For more information about the Army Nurse Corps click here. Feel free to contact the ROTC Department at any time for additional information.
Graduate Students
Did you know that new full time graduate students may be eligible for a two-year scholarship and receive a commission in the Army. You do not even have to have served in the Army before. Speak to someone at the ROTC office to see if you qualify.
